French Toast


  • 4 eggs⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 2/3 cup coffee creamer such as Califia Farms or Nut Pods. If you don’t have this, use milk (nut milk or cows milk) and add 2 tbsp coconut sugar⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 8 slices of gluten-free bread (better if slightly stale) We like Canyon Bakehouse⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • Pinch of salt⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • Grass-fed Butter⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • Pure Maple syrup⠀


In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract. Whisk the mixture until blended. Next, place each slice of bread into the milk/egg mixture, allowing the bread to soak in some of it. Melt a small amount of butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. You can also use cooking spray. Shake off the excess egg mixture from the bread, and place the bread slices onto the hot skillet. Cook until browned on one side, then flip and brown the other side. Serve with butter and Pure Maple Syrup!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
