Homemade Donuts


  • 1 can organic biscuits such as Annie’s Organics
  • 1 jar organic chocolate hazelnut spread such as Simple Truth
  • ½ cup organic virgin coconut oil


Heat coconut oil in a cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Meanwhile, open biscuits and use a small round object such as a pastry cutter to cut the middle out of each biscuit to make a “donut hole”. Once oil hot, place biscuits and “holes” into oil and cook until lightly golden brown on each side. This only takes approximately 1 minute per side. Remove from oil and drain on paper towel. Next, spread each donut and hole with chocolate hazelnut spread. Serve warm and enjoy!
